I am a member and trainer at Posener’s Pankration MMA. I attend Cardio Muay Thai Kickboxing Vancouver classes 3 times a week and they great for effective Muay Thai technique, fitness, and mental discipline. The class, in regards to body toning and sculpting is able to utilize methods which maximize muscular development, fat burning, metabolism enhancement while developing effective combative techniques simultaneously.

From the 4 pt position, this routine will put your glutes on fire, if done correctly and will develop the foot articulation that is important for combative applications. We take the three basic kicks, roundhouse, front, and side/back kicks and we create a routine, that can be modified for the individual, and we perform 10 moderate speed kicks developing the correct form, followed by 10 isometric pulsating contractions with concentration to develop the muscular awareness, then we burn out approximately 10 faster reps to burn the glutes. Do this 3-5 reps!
This is done with each leg for each of the three kicks. Likely after one sequence you will feel it and if done regularly will certainly get those much desired results.
